Returns and Refunds
Right of withdrawal (EU)
As a consumer in the EU, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, notify us by email at flo@umlaut.wine within those 14 days. You then have another 14 days to send the wines back.
Conditions for returns
- Bottles must be unopened, with capsule, cork and label intact
- Wines must be returned in protective packaging suitable for bottles (the original box is ideal)
- Return shipping costs are at your expense, unless the return is due to our error
- We recommend storing the wines upright and away from heat until return, as heat damage can affect the refund
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned bottles, we will refund the purchase amount including the original standard shipping costs within 14 days, using the same payment method you used. If only part of the order is returned, shipping costs are not refunded.
Faulty wine
Natural wine is a living product, but a corked or clearly faulty bottle is never what we want you to end up with. If a bottle is corked or shows a genuine fault, contact us at flo@umlaut.wine. We will replace the bottle or refund it. No need to return a faulty bottle; a photo and a description are enough. Keep the bottle and its contents until we have confirmed the solution.
Please note: an unusual style, cloudiness or sediment is normal in natural wine and is not a fault.
Damaged on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will replace or refund the damaged bottles.

Herroepingsrecht (EU)
Als consument in de EU heb je het recht om je bestelling binnen 14 dagen na ontvangst te annuleren, zonder opgave van reden. Meld dit binnen die 14 dagen per e-mail via flo@umlaut.wine. Daarna heb je nog 14 dagen om de wijnen terug te sturen.
Voorwaarden voor retourneren
- Flessen moeten ongeopend zijn, met capsule, kurk en etiket intact
- Wijnen moeten worden geretourneerd in beschermende verpakking die geschikt is voor flessen (de originele doos is ideaal)
- Retourkosten zijn voor eigen rekening, tenzij de retour het gevolg is van een fout van ons
- Bewaar de wijnen tot de retourzending rechtop en uit de warmte; hitteschade kan van invloed zijn op de terugbetaling
Terugbetaling
Zodra we de geretourneerde flessen hebben ontvangen en gecontroleerd, betalen we het aankoopbedrag inclusief de oorspronkelijke standaardverzendkosten binnen 14 dagen terug, via dezelfde betaalmethode. Wordt slechts een deel van de bestelling geretourneerd, dan worden verzendkosten niet terugbetaald.
Wijn met een gebrek
Natuurwijn is een levend product, maar een fles met kurk of een duidelijk gebrek is nooit de bedoeling. Is een fles gekurkt of aantoonbaar niet in orde, neem dan contact op via flo@umlaut.wine. We vervangen de fles of betalen hem terug. Een fles met een gebrek hoef je niet terug te sturen; een foto en een omschrijving zijn voldoende. Bewaar de fles en de inhoud tot we de oplossing hebben bevestigd.
Let op: een eigenzinnige stijl, troebelheid of depot is normaal bij natuurwijn en geen gebrek.
Beschadigd aangekomen
Is je bestelling beschadigd aangekomen? Neem binnen 48 uur na levering contact op met foto's van de schade en de verpakking. We vervangen of vergoeden de beschadigde flessen.
