Lesom | Berg 2023

Berg means mountain, which is fair: some of Lesom's parcels sit high above the Mosel beneath three medieval castles. This is their Riesling with skin contact, taking the grape somewhere firmer and wilder than you'd expect from this valley. Biodynamic farming, hand harvest, spontaneous fermentation in old wood, bottled unfiltered with barely any sulphur.

Textured, golden, gently grippy. Orange wine with proper Mosel bones.

Drink with: roast chicken, ramen, or aged gouda.
