Dominik Held | Scheurebe La Fleur 2023

Scheurebe with botrytis, and yes, that's on purpose. Noble rot layers honeyed, floral depth over Scheurebe's naturally wild aromatics, but don't let your nose fool you: this drinks completely dry. Dominik Held grows it on his grandfather's old parcels in Dolgesheim, ferments wild and bottles with almost no sulphur, letting the strangeness stay in.

Smells almost sweet, finishes bone-dry. A bit different than usual, exactly as intended.

Drink with: spicy Thai, blue cheese, or aromatic curries.
