Pinot Noir from a volcano. The Kaiserstuhl is Germany's warmest corner, and its dark volcanic soils give Spätburgunder a riper, earthier accent than its northern cousins. Ina Wihler farms her family's parcels organically and biodynamically, ferments with wild yeasts and bottles with a light touch, honouring the women who kept these vineyards going before her.

Bright cherry fruit, gentle spice, a fine smoky edge. Serve it with a light chill.
