Ina Wihler | Weißburgunder Berg 2023

Berg is the mountain wine: Weissburgunder from higher parcels on the Kaiserstuhl, the extinct volcano that towers over Ina Wihler's hometown of Ihringen. Ina studied winemaking at Geisenheim, took over the family vines from her grandmother, and farms them with biodynamic care and a lot of handwork.

Ripe pear and blossom over a cool stony core. Weightier than it looks, elegant all the way down.

Drink with: white asparagus, trout, or creamy pasta.
