Lesom | Fluss 2022

Fluss means river, and this is Lesom's ode to the one that shaped everything here. Jessika and Philipp farm parcels spread across twenty kilometres of Mosel valley, including old family vines in Briedel that Jessika inherited from her grandparents. All handwork, all blue Devonian slate, all Riesling: hand-picked, pressed straight into old Fuder barrels and left to ferment on its own schedule.

Flowing and saline, with that cool blue-slate tension running straight through the middle.

Drink with: grilled white fish, ceviche, or green asparagus.
