La Brume, the mist: the soft-focus one in Ina Wihler's line-up, a blend of Müller-Thurgau, Cabernet Blanc and Silvaner. From her parcels on the Kaiserstuhl volcano, farmed organically with biodynamic practices and vinified the natural way: wild ferment, no fining, next to nothing added, bottled with a gentle haze to match the name.

Cloudy, textural and quietly aromatic. Pour it slightly too cold and let it wake up in the glass.

Drink with: green curry, soft cheeses, or drizzly evenings.
