Class A, as in classic: proof that Robert Kane can also play it straight. A blend of Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau and Riesling from his hand-tended parcels in the Terrassen Mosel, where he's restoring steep slate terraces that time forgot. Fermented spontaneously in his 150-year-old cellar in Winningen and bottled with a light touch.

Lemon-lime, stony freshness, dangerously drinkable. Goes down like water. Technically isn't.

Drink with: oysters, sushi, or an aggressively long lunch.
