Madame Flöck | Pinot Butter 2022

Single vineyard Mosel Weissburgunder with a name that tells you the texture. If the Jura were transplanted to the Mosel, it would taste like this: Robert Kane ferments the Pinot Blanc wild and lets it rest long in mature French oak, unfiltered and barely sulphured, until it turns rich and savoury with a gentle nutty edge.

Buttery in feel, not in flavour: creamy texture over cool slate. Weird and wonderful in equal measure.

Drink with: roast chicken, comté, or mushroom risotto.
