Black and white, vintage two: this year Riesling and Schwarzriesling, which despite the name is not Riesling at all but Pinot Meunier, the champagne grape gone Swabian. Nick Pratt co-ferments them from his sandstone and marl parcels in the Remstal into his signature not-quite-rosé, not-quite-red.

Juicy, saline and dangerously poundable, served cold. Wordplay you can drink.
